Well, we thought Baylor was not going to play Allstars, but he changed his mind! We are excited for him. He's really excited about his friend Chase being on the team with him. So, baseball continues!
Saturday was a great day. Nate, Amber, Hunter, Braden and Odie came and hung out with us at the pool. We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs and watched the kids play 'til dark. It's been wonderful having the family together again! "Hunt Dog" stayed the night with us - they giggled in the bed for hours.
Church has been such a terrific part of our life - we finally found our "Church Family"!! Sundays seem so relaxed and joyful, there's a certain peace that wasn't there before. The kids are enjoying it as much as us! The sunday school class sang during church today. The boys were so cute. As we were heading home Landon piped up and said, "I love that church!" It is a wonderful feeling knowing my children are feeling the same love as us! We all road home with a smile.

What a busy weekend! Saturday was Corbin's last ball game - thank goodness! He really enjoyed his first season of T-ball! Baylor's season ended Friday with them taking 3rd place. They had a great team and most will be returning next year. Bay got picked for Allstars, but kindly declined. He said he wanted to spend his summer swimming in the pool. We were thrilled no less!!! Saturday night was Madeline and Audrey's dance recital -the boys always love seeing them perform. Emmie was entertained as well. Sunday was a wonderful day. Hunter and Braden were Baptized at St. George! We spent the day together at Dad's and enjoyed a great shrimp boil. Nothing says summer like a good shrimp boil!! The day was supposed to be rainy, but it turned out to be beautiful. We had such a great day!

Happy Mother's Day

So, tomorow is the day to honor our Mother's. It's the day to give thanks and to let them know how much we appreciate everything they do for us. Once you become a mother there is a new found respect that you have for your mother. With that said, I want to say, "THANK YOU!", to my two mother's for all that they do for us, especially the little things. They both mean so much to us. We love them dearly and thank God for them. I also want to wish all of my friends and family a wonderful Mother's Day, too. Because of them I am able to enjoy motherhood with support, lots of drinks and many laughs! A toast to you for a job well done! Hope everyone has a super day! And remember, we should thank our mom's everyday!

Ready for Summer

We are sooo ready for summer. The days are getting longer and warmer and it just makes you want to lay back and enjoy the afternoon. We've already started hitting the pool. The kids get out of school on June 5th so we are counting down the days. Baseball will be over on Saturday and we are ALL happy about that. We've been going to church at St. George Episcipal church and my brother and his family, along with Dad have been coming too. I'm proud to say that my nephews, Hunter & Braden, are being Baptized on Mother's Day. Toby and I have been asked to be their Godparents!! We are so excited and ask that everyone pray for us so that we can be the best Godparents we can be.

It's Feeding Time!

This is Emerson's first bite of rice cereal on April 10th. She wasn't quite sure what to think!
This is Easter morning after church. The kids always hate taking pictures, but we managed to get a good one!

My First Time

ok! So, this is blogging. Right now I should be cleaning my house since no one is home and Emerson is asleep, but I find myself typing away! I am looking forward to this because I am so bad about keeping in touch with people. And of coarse I am terrible about sending out new photos of the kids. I am hoping this will help. I am looking forward to this new world I am entering.
